# 24-Hour Security Restriction

To protect your funds, Cwallet temporarily restricts sending for **24 hours** after you change important security settings. This prevents someone who gains access to your account from changing your settings and moving your funds right away.

### What is restricted?

During the 24 hours, **all sending transactions and sensitive asset operations are disabled**, including:

* Withdrawals to external addresses
* Internal transfers to other Cwallet users
* Spot trade: swap, memecoin, xStocks
* Buy and Sell crypto
* Luckybox
* Finance functions: earn, loan, recurring buy
* Tools functions
* Telegram Tip/Airdrop

### When does the restriction end?

The restriction ends **exactly 24 hours after the change was made**. 

For example, if you changed your payment password to 10:00 on Monday, you can send it again from 10:00 on Tuesday.

#### How do I determine the end time?

Navigate to the avatar photo in the upper right corner, and click the '**Settings**' option.

On the profile page, click the '**Security**' option, and then you can see the security protection time.

<mark style="color:$success;">**Tip:**</mark> Note the time when you change a security setting. If you plan to withdraw soon, avoid changing security settings right before you need to send funds.

### Can the restriction be lifted early?

No. The restriction cannot be removed by Customer Support. Please wait until the 24 hours are over.
