# My KYC Documents aren’t Accepted; What Can I Do

Due to Anti-Money laundering (AML) regulatory compliance, MoonPay, Ramp, and other crypto-related companies are required to get a globally tenable means of identification. Most times, a National ID card or Passport are appropriate KYC documents. 

Also, ensure that your KYC document has not expired and isn’t near expiry.
