Is KYC mandatory?

No, completing KYC is not mandatory to use our core services. However, we highly recommend completing the verification process to enhance the security of your account and assets. Rest assured, you can still access most product features without completing KYC.

Why was I asked to do KYC?

KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is required in certain situations to ensure the security of our platform and comply with financial regulations. You may be prompted to complete KYC when you:

· Use the Buy & Sell feature for the first time

· Apply for a Cozy Card

· Submit a support ticket for certain issues

· Trigger our risk management system (e.g., due to activities related to AML regulations, high-risk behavior, etc.)

What documents can be uploaded for KYC?

We accept several types of valid government-issued photo IDs for KYC verification. These include:

· National ID Card

· Passport

· Driver's License

Important: Please ensure the document you upload is not expired and that the photo is clear and legible.

For Cwallet mobile App

  1. Visit Cwallet, navigate to the profile page, and click Security

  1. Locate and click Identity Verification

  1. Then click start to complete your KYC

For Cwallet web App

  1. Visit Cwallet website, navigate to the setting page, and click Security

  1. Then start to verify your KYC

  1. Kindly complete the KYC requirement

Note: The hand-held ID photo requires you to hold your ID card with your face.
